Another curious. The bottom photo module looks as if the periscope principle has been applied in the optics design. We have recently seen this design at the MWC-2109 exhibition in a prototype smartphone, presented by OPPO. It was about a 10-fold optical zoom, implemented through the use of cameras with significantly different focal length. The “periscopic” design was needed to ensure a sufficient distance between the lenses in the telephoto camera without thickening the device.
This suggests that the Huawei P30 Pro uses this technology, which means that the chip of this device will be a multiple approximation of the object when shooting.
Cameras, by the way, are not three, as it may seem, but four. The TOF module is located next to the flash and is used to accurately measure the distance to the object and build 3D models.
