In Spain, a prototype single-seat air taxi was developed (video)

Spanish company Tecnalia presented a prototypeunmanned aerial taxi in the city of San Sebastian. We are talking about an aerodynamic cabin with dimensions of 1.8 x 2 meters with a door-window. The novelty was equipped with 16 propellers installed on 4 remote consoles.

The machine will be able to transport one person orcargo weighing no more than 150 kilograms. The prototype can cover a distance of 15 kilometers. It will take him a quarter of an hour. Over time, an air taxi will be able to move at a speed of 90 kilometers per hour and an altitude of 100 - 200 meters (it all depends on local laws).

The device can land and take off vertically. Novelty enough landing pad, not exceeding the parking space. It can fly in bad weather when it rains or a strong wind blows.

Tecnalia plans to establish commercial production of air taxi by the end of 2024.
