They were saturated due to, to put it mildly, notthe best economic environment around the world (who have better/worse quarters, who left the Russian market, who stayed to understand what will happen next), and without interesting news - for the same reason. Because, alas, the whole focus has shifted to lead from the fields in the literal and figurative sense.

However, life goes on, new devices are slowly appearing. For example, yesterday Huawei decided to hold a global presentation online on our favorite YouTube platform.

And on the stage were Richard Yu (executive directorConsumer Business Group) and Riko Zhang (President of Huawei Health Monitoring Smart Device Product Line). They did not drag out the event and held it the way most viewers like: in just one hour they showed several devices at once, without going into details. Well, the slogan of the presentation was the phrase "Together we build a better future."

The company reported that it is in 9th placeamong top brands, growth in value for the year amounted to +28%. In addition, Huawei is in second place for continuous innovation (first - Alphabet, third - Microsoft).

It was even compared with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. True, the designs of the devices are completely different: Samsung closes like a book, while Huawei, on the contrary, opens up.

The Xs 2 has a single large 7.8-inch screen with an 8:7.1 aspect ratio, but when folded, the same screen turns into a 6.5-inch screen with a 19:9 aspect ratio.

The total screen resolution is 2480x2200 pixels, which is not so much for such a large diagonal. For example, I currently have Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra in my hands with a resolution of 1440 × 3200 pixels at 6.8 inches.

The display refresh rate of Huawei is 120 Hz, the touch works out 240 Hz. The so-called PWM should be absent here.

Of course, Apple couldn’t help but kick, they say, the iPhone has a wider display frame, but the usable area is smaller than that of the Xs 2.

Huawei compared anti-reflective coatings. It turned out that the Xs 3 has it best, then literally on the heels of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Galaxy Z Fold3.

A nice bonus was that the new Huaweiweighs only 255 grams. At the presentation, they said that the device weighs less than the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a case, and 16 grams less than the Galaxy Z Fold3 without a case. By the way, part of the body of Xs 2 is made of titanium alloy.

In general, in theory, you should get a very light and durable smartphone in a relatively compact package. As for cameras, there are three main ones:

Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Titanium and Ceramic

At the presentation, they talked about five areas in wearable electronics, in particular, in watches.

Huawei has Watch Series (for everyone), Watch Fit/Band (stylish, for young people), Watch GT (classic), Watch D (medical) and Watch GT Runner (professional).

Today we were shown the new watch GT 3 Pro, which will be sold in two versions - titanium (46 mm) and ceramic (43 mm).

In the first case, there are three models: with a silicone strap, leather and titanium.

Since the watches belong to the Watch GT series, their design is classic, with a digital crown (wheel).

The case of the GT 3 Pro is titanium alloy, the lower part is ceramic, and the upper part is sapphire crystal (scratch resistant and highly transparent).

The GT 3 Pro watch became more original in the versionceramic. They are made, as the name implies, of ceramics. Most of the case is white, while the bezel, pusher, and round digital crown are gold. The manufacturer claims that it takes up to 10 days to create such a case.

Much attention has been paid to the watch faces of the GT 3 Pro in the Ceramic version. They are very beautiful and stylish - almost a work of art. True, from a functional point of view, they are not very interesting.

The ceramic version of the watch will be available in two versions: with a white ceramic strap and a white leather strap.

From a technical point of view, as far as I understand, GT3 Pro Titanium and Ceramic are similar. Unless the first has a larger screen, the second has a smaller one. Moreover, both models support diving mode (up to 30 meters). They can also do an EKG.

In addition, new items receive calls from a smartphone. They have microphones and speakers.

Working time: titanium shows up to 14 days, ceramic - up to 7 days.

Huawei GT 3 Pro Titanium will cost 369/389/499euro depending on the strap (26,000 / 27,000 / 35,000 rubles). And Huawei GT 3 Pro Ceramic will have to fork out - 500 euros for a leather strap and 700 euros for a ceramic strap (35,000 / 48,000 rubles, respectively).

Huawei Watch FIT 2

If the previous devices were represented by Mr. Richard Yu, then the rest by Riko Zhang.

The Watch FIT 2 device will be available in three variants, however, each has two or three colors:

Active Edition - black, pink and blue (silicone)
Classic Edition - gray and white (leather)
Elegant Edition - gold and silver (metal).

Each of them has a fairly large rectangular screen 1.74 inches and a resolution of 336x480 pixels. Usable area - 72%.

In general, these are the most youthful devices withthe ability to measure anything and everything. They have animated workouts, Bluetooth calls, screen AOD mode, automatic blood oxygen measurement, and more. Interestingly, the Active Edition does not have an NFC chip, while the Classic Edition and Elegant Edition do.

And the watch is equipped with a speaker and a microphone. Must work up to 10 days.

The cost of Huawei Watch FIT 2 is 150, 200 and 250 euros, depending on the version (10,000 / 14,000 / 18,000 rubles). Let's just say it's not cheap.

This is a new class of company devices.It probably was before, but I have never received such gadgets for review. In fact, this is a watch with a pressure measurement function. Available in two colors - black and grey. Made from metal.

Pressure measurement is classicalmethod: air is injected into the strap (cuff), then it gradually exits (deflates), and the sensors record the values of systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the range from 40 to 230 mm Hg. Art.

The thing is extremely useful and necessary for those whosuffering from hypertension or hypotension. But more often still necessary for the elderly. True, at a cost of 450 euros (30,000 rubles), it seems to me that it is easier to buy five of the most accurate blood pressure monitors and give them to your relatives. By the way, they will also be autonomous, just larger than Watch D.

Of course, the novelty can still measure the leveloxygen in the blood and temperature, but all this is easily replaced by an ordinary mercury thermometer (which will show the temperature unambiguously more accurately) and any pulse oximeter for 500 rubles. Still, not all people and not every day measure the level of oxygen, temperature and pressure with heart rate.

Huawei S-TAG

This is a professional tool compatible withwatch from Huawei, to monitor various indicators. Can be attached to boots, shirts and jeans, even bike spokes. The thing weighs 7.5 grams, protected from water.

I am sure that such a device will cost extremely inexpensively, I think, around 10-15 euros.
