The next generation of the flagship familyHuawei's Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones will appear before the public in the fall of 2019. Up to this point, there is still plenty of time for various leaks, and they will probably still occur, but it is possible that the most interesting information has already been left out. According to the Dutch resource LetsGoDigital, the chip will be a new lens.
This is indicated by the application for registration of tradeCine-Lens and Camera Matrix brands, filed with EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office). In the description relating to Cine-Lens, a term such as “filming” is mentioned.
The assumption that the company's intention to equipSmart phone lens, it refers to the Mate 30, suggests itself. In terms of photo quality, Huawei stepped far forward, but the video is lagging behind. The advanced device of the new generation needs a new feature - it is quite logical to assume that the Mate 30 Pro (and maybe the Mate 30 too) will receive a film lens specially designed for video shooting.
The name Leica is also appropriate here, not only because the company has longstanding cooperation with Huawei, but also because there are film lenses in its range.
The expected list of features Mate 30 Pro at the moment is as follows:
- Kirin 985 chipset
- curved AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.71 ″ with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, with an integrated fingerprint scanner
- 4200 mAh battery, 55W charging, reverse charging (when the smartphone itself is used as a wireless charger) - 10W
- 4 cameras as part of the rear photoblock: 40 MP, 8 MP with 5x optical zoom, 20 MP ultra-width and ToF
