AMD's Ryzen processors are already used in manycomputer. They also appeared in ultra-compact desktop systems (UCFF or Ultra-compact form-factor). The latest innovation of this kind - a miniature PC HP ProDesk 405 G4, designed for use in office environments.
Dimensions of development are 177 x 175 x 34millimeter, and the weight of the PC is 1.26 kilograms. The basic version of the ProDesk 405 G4 runs on a 2-core Athlon Pro 200GE processor. Advanced models are equipped with 4-core Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE and Ryzen 3 Pro 2200GE chips. The graphics are processed by the Vega 3, 8 and 11 graphics processors built into the ProDesk 405 G4. There are no modifications with discrete graphics, and it is not required in this case.
Maximum RAM (DDR4 withfrequency 2933 MHz) in the new product is 32 GB. The data will have to be stored either on a solid-state drive with a NVMe interface and 128–1212 GB in size, or on a hard disk of 1 TB, or on their combination. The system consumes a little energy - within 65 watts, and is powered by an external adapter.
Also in the HP ProDesk 405 G4 modules are installedBluetooth wireless connectivity and Wi-Fi 802.11ac from Realtek or Intel, six USB 3.0 ports and optionally one USB 3.1 Type-C. To connect to the network via a wire there is a Gigabit Realtek RTL8111EPH controller. The monitor connects via DisplayPort 1.2. D-Sub or HDMI 2.0 may also be available. 3.5mm jacks are provided for the microphone and headphones. There is the option of mounting the serial port and other connectors.
