So, flying in orbit, they can mark the coming of the next year so many times.
It is worth noting that the Soviet astronauts Georgy Grechko and Yuri Romanenko were the first to meet New Year in orbit in 1978, aboard the Salyut station.

“4 kilograms of apples were delivered to the station, 3kilograms of tangerines and 3 kilograms of grapefruit. The crew also asked to bring 10 cans of caviar. In this case, oranges are usually delivered to the ISS, since tangerines do not reach in very good condition. However, in honor of the celebration of the New Year, it was decided to make an exception. ”
