Video streaming services HBO Max and Discovery Plus have merged into one service called Max. Announcement about it

was made last Wednesday at an eventWarner Bros. The new service will launch on May 23, and users will be offered several subscription options - the maximum option will cost $19.99, and two cheaper tiers will also be available - for $15.99 and $9.99. The maximum subscription tier, which is called Ultimate, will have no ads and some content will be offered in 4K HDR Dolby Atmos quality. This subscription will allow four simultaneous streams and up to 100 local downloads per month. The $15.99 Standard plan will also be ad-free, but will be HD-only, with up to two simultaneous streams, and up to 30 local downloads. In the cheapest option, there will be two streams with HD quality and ads.
