Google will implement a screenshot search

The image search process becomes simpler andmore effective. The updated Google app 10.61, currently distributed in beta, has Smart Screenshots that integrates Edit & Share screenshots and What’s on my Screen.

After the user takes a screenshotfrom the smartphone screen in the traditional way, the resulting image can be edited and sent using various applications. However, in the updated version, it was possible to use the artificial intelligence Lens, which searches for a screenshot, allows you to recognize text fragments in the screenshot and identify similar objects.

It is not currently known whether the functionuse the search using Lens available only for screenshots made by Google or apply to all screenshots. There is a high likelihood of replacing the standard on-screen search with Smart Screenshots, just as Lens had other Google Assistant features before.
