should do all the work for you:choose the right partners, ensure your safety and guarantee the deal. You need to understand that the marketplace is often just an intermediary between you and the seller, when buying a product, many things can go wrong, and the marketplace will try to fix them. But there is a divorce as old as the world, which definitely indicates that they are trying to deceive you - when the seller does not want to communicate on the site, but he tries to transfer your correspondence somewhere outside, for example, to a messenger. This is a clear sign that they are trying to deceive you.

One of our readers described such a scheme, considering it new, but it is as old as the world. Let's quote his post:

I want to talk about a new type of fraud,which appeared on the Ozone marketplace. Every day, new stores appear on the site that have a small “typical” set of hype goods, such as popular Xiaomi smartphones, Samsung TVs, Sony PS5 consoles, and all this at prices below the market to attract victims. Delivery of goods is possible only by the seller's courier, they do not place goods in the Ozon warehouse, this is an important point. The whole essence of the scam is this: the user of ozone makes an order on the site, then this seller writes in a personal message on ozone to the buyer that they say sorry, the goods have run out in the Ozone warehouse, but they say we are ready to give you another discount and send the goods to Yandex delivery (bypassing ozone, of course) and they offer to go to WhatsApp for further discussion .. well, then the classics of the genre, they ask for a transfer of money for goods to the card and disappear ... they are sure that the seller from ozone is reliable and will not throw it, and even the price tag is sweet, in total vigilance falls and the scheme works.

Prices are extremely low, it is much below the market..the description of the goods is concocted clumsily and briefly in a hurry .. going down in the product card you will find the seller and you can look at all their goods, there are usually up to ten popular lots at low prices in each such store, all are united by delivery by their own couriers, and not through ozone ... the first stores were on IP from Simferopol, now different cities

I, having learned about this, immediately turned to Ozon's TP andI told them the whole scheme and what was happening on their site, the guys promised to take action, but they take a long time to react, and these stores multiply like mushrooms, 5 new ones a day. According to my complaint, only one managed to be blocked, but this is a drop in the ocean. Now I will throw screenshots and links to such fake stores.

It seems to me that it is worth highlighting this event, drawing the attention of the Ozone Security Council and simply warning people.

What distinguishes such stores is that the goods are really obscenely cheap, such a price should make you wonder how it appeared and why the goods are more expensive in all other places.

Fraudsters take advantage of the fact that many people trust the marketplace, in our example it is Ozone. And they relax, and then they act at the behest of scammers, which, of course, cannot be done.

Whenever you are asked to reschedulecommunication outside the site where the store is located is a sign that they want to deceive you. It doesn’t matter where you communicate, on WhatsApp or Telegram, on the seller’s website or somewhere else, it is always a scam. No explanations that it’s more convenient that way, that the seller’s system only works this way, it’s not worth listening to, this is a hoax.

And here, many simply believe that it is not necessary to do this, they give their money away, which is fundamentally wrong. Applications need to be written, and the more there are, the faster the scammers will be found. It is impossible to believe that the police do not catch mice, such cases are being investigated. Another thing is that there will be no immediate result, you need to understand that the issue will take up to a year, before you will definitely not see your money.

In any crisis, the desire to save money becomes strong, which is what scammers use. And to be their victim or not, it's up to you to choose. Be smart in your purchases.
