Folding smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 5 will get a new hinge and reduce wrinkles

The web has reported that Samsung intends to use a new hinge design for its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphone.

The design that the company uses inof all current foldable smartphones, encases the display and its ultra-thin glass in a tight curve. This results in a deep crease in the internal display and a slight corner in the phone's body when closed.

New same design called hinge type"drop", similar to the design used by other brands such as Oppo and Motorola. Its use will make the bend and crease of the display of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 smaller.

The device is expected to be announced in August 2023 as part of Galaxy Unpacked. Together with him, we can also expect a brand new Galaxy Z Flip 5.
