Firmware update for Sony WF-1000XM4 TWS headphones brings point-to-point connectivity

Sony has updated the firmware of its Sony WF-1000XM4 Active Noise Canceling TWS headphones. Model received

update 2.0.0, which brought the headphones support for simultaneous connection to two sources. The new functionality allows the headset to connect to two devices at the same time and intelligently switch between audio sources. The Sony WF-1000XM4 Active Noise Canceling TWS Headphones was released in June 2021. The headphones support LDAC codec, are equipped with a V1 audio processing chip, can work up to 8 hours from a full charge and up to 24 hours using a charging case. The company is already preparing the next generation of the device - the Sony WF-1000XM5 model has passed the FCC certification, it will support Bluetooth 5.3 and audio LE.
