Polestar and Cake have teamed up forcreation of an “urban” electric moped Makka Polestar Edition. This is the second model of an electric moped that will be released thanks to the collaboration. It will be released in a limited edition in sky blue, similar to the Polestar O2 roadster concept unveiled earlier this year.
Makka is an electric moped companyCake, focused exclusively on urban conditions. The maximum speed is only 45 km/h, which makes it possible to use it in many countries even without a motorcycle license.
The Makka Polestar Edition was designed withtaking into account the possibility of its transportation in the Polestar electric car and could even be charged from its battery. The new Cake Makka Polestar Edition features a slim headlight, Öhlins suspension and a removable rear rack.
Motor with a rated power of 1.55 kW andpeak up to 2.8 kW will provide a maximum speed of up to 45 km / h. The battery with a capacity of 31 Ah provides a range of 55 km, which is quite suitable for urban conditions.
Sales and delivery of new items will be handled by CAKE, but through the Polestar Additionals online store. The price of the new model will be 5300 US dollars.
