In the middle of last fall, a Chinese companyHuawei introduced a unique flagship camera phone Huawei Mate 20 Pro with a three-module main camera. At that moment, the manufacturer stressed that he would not report the result of testing the device to the well-known DxOMark team, since it is very high. But the experts of the Internet portal decided not to hide their work from the eyes of users and posted a review of the Mate 20 Pro for everyone to see.
DxOMark ranked Huawei Mate 20 Pro overall score109, with 114 points in the field of photography and 97 points for the video. This is one of the best results in the history of the famous portal for smartphones. Nevertheless, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro score, although very high, does not exceed the result of another flagship of Huawei - P20 Pro, which also has an average score of 109 points, as well as 114 points for photographing, but 98 for video shooting.
DxOMark praised in particular the triple coreThe camera has a Huawei Mate 20 Pro, consisting of a 40-megapixel sensor for ordinary photos, a 20-megapixel sensor for wide-angle images and an 8-megapixel module for shooting with 3x optical zoom. The smartphone produces pictures with very moderate noise when shooting with low light, it has a good white balance, color reproduction and zoom, fast autofocus and a wide dynamic range. Comments from the authors of the test occurred to the autofocus when using the flash. In addition, during portrait shooting, small details are lost on the faces. There are also artifacts along the edges of objects trapped in a snapshot.
DxOMark experts were generally pleased with the video shooting from Mate 20 Pro, however, the points in the final mark were taken for the camera shake while walking.
