Compact Notebook Honor MagicBook Pro 2019 Ryzen Edition

The Huawei sub-brand Honor, which introduced a small-sized MagicBook Pro 2019 Ryzen Edition laptop running on the AMD platform, will not be left aside, which will additionally make devices cheaper than similar computers based on Intel processors.


The new device is equipped with 16.1 inch Full HD(1920 × 1080) monitor framed by narrow (4.9 mm) frames, which allowed to expand the useful area of ​​the front panel up to 90%. The developers claim that the monitor supports 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.
Depending on the configuration, MagicBook laptopsPro 2019 Ryzen Edition will be presented with an AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor (2.1-3.7 GHz) and a Radeon RX Vega 8 GPU, and in the second version, AMD Ryzen 7 3750H (2.3-4.0 GHz) and Radeon RX Vega 10 graphics card.


PCIe SSD main memory512 GB SSD RAM DDR4-2400, depending on the delivery, can reach either 8 or 16 GB. The laptop works under Windows 10 Home, but there is also a special version for Linux.

Wireless connectivity is provided byWi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 / 5 GHz) 2 × 2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0. The identification of the owner will control the fingerprint sensor. The computer has USB Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A (× 3), and HDMI connectors.


Autonomous work of the laptop is providedbattery for up to 8.5 hours. Models based on the Windows MagicBook Pro 2019 Ryzen Edition with Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 will go on sale from September 23 at a price of $ 660 to $ 730, and the Linux-based version with Ryzen 5 at a price of $ 615 will only be released on September 30.
