The Russian comedy "Cheburashka" directed by Dmitry Dyachenko became the highest-grossing domestic film
in the history of Russian distribution with box officein the amount of 3.082 billion rubles. "Cheburashka" managed to slightly outperform the previous record holder, the film "Kholop" directed by Klim Shipenko. Previously, only three films managed to collect more than 3 billion rubles in the Russian box office: Avatar remains on the first line with fees of 3.5 billion rubles, Kholop with fees of 3.073 billion rubles and Movement Up with fees of 3.045 billion rubles. Among the films of Dmitry Dyachenko are also such works as "The Last Hero" and "What Men Talk About". In "Cheburashka" the main roles were played by Sergey Garmash, Olga Kuzmina, Fedor Dobronravov, Polina Maksimova and Sergey Lavygin.
