China to develop unified fast charging standard for mobile devices

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China is promoting the idea of ​​developing a unified

national standard fast wired chargingfor mobile devices. At the moment, Chinese manufacturers are world leaders in the development and creation of fast chargers for mobile gadgets. As a standard, it is proposed to develop a unified approach to the use of 100W charging. To develop a standard, a Committee was established to promote technologies and standards for fast charging and develop terminals for it. It is argued that the development of a common standard in this area will help consolidate the success of Chinese smartphone manufacturers and allow for a more environmentally friendly use of materials and equipment. It is emphasized that the committee was tasked with agreeing on the requirements of the standard in the near future.
