At the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show, which is due to start on April 18, BYD intends to show its
electric supercar U9.It is stated that the new car will be able to accelerate to “hundreds” in just 2 seconds. The model was developed as part of the newly created sub-brand of high-end electric vehicles Look Up. As part of this brand, two cars are presented, one of them is just the U9 Performance supercar. The company finalized its appearance and showed the official image. The model received full-width LED lighting, a large rear spoiler and new decorative elements. In Shanghai, the electric car will debut with a new power plant, dubbed Yisifang, with a capacity of 1100 hp, capable of delivering 1280 Nm of torque. The car will have to compete for public attention with the Rimac Nevera hypercar, whose acceleration time to “hundreds” is stated at 1.86 seconds.
