By 2030, 14 billion eSIM-enabled devices will be delivered to the market

Market research firm Counterpoint predicts that 14 billion

devices that support eSIM.These figures include all eSIM form factors. According to 2021 data, 350 million eSIM-enabled devices were shipped to the market in the categories of smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, IoT modules and connected cars. Expected this year is a new iSIM form factor that integrates the SIM card directly into the chipset, bringing many new benefits to manufacturers, such as smaller devices. The new form factor is expected to account for up to half of all such device shipments by 2030, about 7 billion units.
