Audi (Volkswagen Group) announces the Audi Q4 Sportsback e-tron cross-coupe, a further development of the Audi Q4 e-tron shown at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. In the new model, the greatest changes affected the exterior design of the hull, which led to a significant improvement in aerodynamic performance.
The base for the Audi Q4 Sportsback e-tron becomesmodular platform VW MEB. The car will have two power plants with a total capacity of 225 kW (306 hp). An electric motor with a power of 150 kW will operate on the rear axle, creating a torque of 310 Nm, and a 75 kW motor with a torque of 150 Nm will be installed on the front axle. Speed set from 0 to 100 km / h is carried out in 6.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 180 km / h.
Autonomous work Audi Q4 Sportsback e-tronprovides an 82 kWh battery pack. The model with all-wheel drive has a radius of autonomous driving without recharging the batteries of about 450 km, and the modification with rear-wheel drive will provide a travel range of up to 500 km on the WLTP cycle. The battery supports fast charging technology, which allows you to increase the charge from 0 to 80% in just half an hour. The heat balance of the drive system and battery is ensured by the heat pump.
Next year, the Audi Q4 Sportsback e-tron coupe-crossover will be mass-produced and will hit the market for $ 45,000. The main competitor of the car is the Tesla Model Y.
