ASUS has unveiled the functionality of smart watches VivoWatch 5 (4 photos)

ASUS without an official presentationrevealed some parameters and technical capabilities of future smart watches VivoWatch 5. On the official website of the company, the watch has a personal page, on which the functionality of the watch was published without detailed technical specifications.

The main task of the new model of ASUS smart watchesVivoWatch 5, according to the developers, is to protect the health of the user and his family. For these purposes, the device has sensors that allow 24/7 monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, temperature (surface temperature, but not body temperature) and pulse, as well as analyzing the duration and quality of sleep, and monitoring the user's stress level.

For 24/7 health monitoringa special application ASUS HealthConnect APP is intended, which also provides the exchange of information about the health status of relatives and friends. The watch also tracks standard physical activity parameters such as steps, distance traveled, and some exercise parameters.

ASUS VivoWatch 5 will be released inclassic round case with OLED display and equipped with quick-release straps of various styles (sports or classic leather straps). The device is equipped with LTE and NFC modules, a GPS sensor, as well as an accelerometer, gyroscope and altimeter (altimeter). The case receives 5 ATM water protection. Autonomous working time is 14 days. The VivoWatch 5 model is running a proprietary operating system.
