Apple will still allow the installation of third-party applications

Very soon, an antitrust law should come into force in the European Union. According to it, Apple will be required to open access to the proprietary ecosystem to third-party software developers starting in 2024.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is activelyworking on the implementation of the corresponding functionality in iOS. Moreover, this will happen before 2024 - according to journalists, users can access applications from third-party sources already in iOS 17!

This means iPhone owners will be able to install third-party apps like they do on Android starting next year. Well, or at least Apple itself leads to such an outcome.

All these innovations can also be brought to iOS by third-party payment systems. third-party developers will have more control over the NFC chip.
