Apple launched the service thanks towhich users can repair their devices at home. The set includes more than 200 parts and tools that will be rented out.
Service called "Self-repair"English Self Service Repair Store, will allow you to repair third-generation iPhone 12, 13 and SE models. Prices will be both higher and lower than going to a service center. For example, a new battery for an iPhone 13 Pro will cost $71, $2 more than going downtown, and a display for an iPhone 13 will cost $269, which is $10 less than downtown.
Tools will be rented out because they will be used infrequently, and expensive tools will be offered, such as a press to hold the display. The rental price is $49 per week.
