Google Pixel smartphones have discovered a major vulnerability that allows an attacker to unlock and gain access to the device.
The problem was discovered by a security researcherDavid Schutz. The vulnerability was named CVE-2022-20465. The researcher said that an attacker with physical access to a smartphone can easily bypass the lock (via a fingerprint or PIN). Fortunately, this vulnerability has already been fixed in the November patch. So if you have a Pixel phone, update it.
Attacking is incredibly easy. Simply replace the SIM card with your own and enter the PUK code.
