Announcement. ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+ is a smartphone for the Chinese market

ZTE announced a smartphone in its native Chinacalled 中兴远航40 Pro+. These hieroglyphs, according to automatic translators, are translated as “journey”. And, most likely, on news sites the device will be called ZTE Voyage 40 Pro+. Or ZTE Yuanhang 40 Pro + (this is if in tune).

Curious moment.ZTE Voyage 40 Pro + is very similar in appearance to the twin smartphones ZTE Axon 40 SE and ZTE Blade V40s, which I talked about just yesterday. But the characteristics (except for the screen) are very different. It seems that they just stuffed another stuffing into the same case.

The stuffing, by the way, is quite good. Chipset MediaTek Dimensity 810, i.e. in AnTuTu we are waiting for 350-400 points. Lots of memory. 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Support for memory cards, however, no.

The screen, apparently, does not have an increased refresh rate, only the standard 60 Hz. But AMOLED. Large - 6.67″ (107 cm²). And the resolution is normal - 1080 × 2400 (395 ppi).

The battery is average, 4510 mAh. But charging ultra-fast - 66 watts.

The set of cameras is not particularly impressive. 16 MP front, 64 + 5 + 2 MP rear (main, macro, depth sensor).

There is support for 5G networks, an NFC module, Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The price doesn't really bite. Only ¥2198 (₽18600, $302) at launch.

It is possible that the device will appear outside the Celestial Empire. But if it appears, it is clearly under a different name.
