ZTE has announced at home in China a fresh flagship smartphone ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro plus a couple of its special versions. Let's start the story with special versions.

The original Nubia Z40 Pro is equipped with an impressive 5000 mAh battery. There is ultra-fast wired charging - 80W, but no wireless charging. Actually, it's not there.

Special version of ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro 引力版, which translatesinto English as ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro Gravity Edition, has a slightly smaller battery - 4600 mAh. And wired charging is also very fast, but still a little slower, 66 watts. But there is wireless charging (15 W). And not ordinary, but magnetic. Like the iPhone's MagSafe, if I understand correctly. Bring the charger to the smartphone (or the smartphone to charge) - bang - they merge in ecstasy and the smartphone begins to fill with life-giving electricity. That's all. Gravity Edition has no other differences, even the appearance is identical. Well, only more memory and higher price. But more on that later.

The second special version is called ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro人之下引力限定版. Translation into English ... I looked at various sources - who is in what much. Horror. In my opinion, it would be most correct to call this smartphone ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro Under One Person Gravity Edition. Those. this is also Gravity Edition with its magnetic charging, but not just Gravity Edition, but Gravity Edition for fans of Under One Person (such a Chinese web comic). The name, of course, turned out mom don't worry - but what to do?

From the regular Gravity Edition fanthe special version differs in design. Plus, for sure, some additional software is installed, all sorts of beautiful wallpapers. Plus, the delivery set is generously filled with various trinkets.

Other characteristics.

Flagships - flagship chipset.Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. We are waiting for about a million points in AnTuTu. ZTE boasts that they've done a great job with the cooling, so their flagship isn't as hot as the competition.

AMOLED screens, diagonal 6.67 ″, resolution 1080 × 2400 (395 ppi). Huge refresh rate - up to 144 Hz. For games, that's it. Raspberries, however, are slightly spoiled by a screen that is thoroughly rounded from the sides ...

Curious cameras. Frontal - okay, there is little demand from it, 16 MP.

Behind the trio. 64+50+8 MP. The main camera, wide-angle and telephoto periscope with a fivefold optical zoom. All but the width are equipped with optical stabilization.

The main sensor is Sony IMX787. And by the way, this is a debut.Moreover, we don’t know anything about this sensor other than resolution. But since it was put in such a serious smartphone, then, probably, it is not bad.

Curiously, the focal length of the mainmodule is 35mm instead of the traditional 26mm. Which means that you will see the picture closer, larger. In fact, such a picture, if I understand correctly, is closer to what you see with your own eyes. But, on the other hand, less will fit into the frame. On the third hand, the wide-angle module here is also clearly quite serious. So as long as the lighting is good, there shouldn't be any problems. Zoom out, zoom in, do whatever you want.

Other. There is an NFC module, support for 5G networks, a sixth Wi-Fi. The fingerprint scanner is hidden under the screen. There is no standard audio output and no support for memory cards.
