Announcement. Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro - a copy that has suddenly become more expensive?

A smartphone called Xiaomi Redmi Note 13R Pro was announced in China.

Nothing new.We have before us an almost exact copy of the Redmi Note 13 announced in September. The differences are symbolic. The design of the camera island has changed. The dimensions and weight have changed slightly. Another set of colors - they threw out the gray one and added gold. And Redmi Note 13 had as many as four varieties with different amounts of memory – from 6+128 GB to 12+256 GB. But Redmi Note 13R Pro has only one variety. But the older one is 12+256 GB. (Memory cards, whatever, are not supported here).

Other characteristics.

The not-so-powerful chipset is MediaTek Dimensity 6080. It’s somewhere around ~450K in AnTuTu.

Nice screen. AMOLED diagonal 6.67″ (107 cm²). High resolution 1080x2400 (395 ppi). The refresh rate is up to 120Hz, but the screen is not LTPO.

Standard battery – 5000 mAh. Slightly accelerated charging – 33 W.

The camera set is far from outstanding. 16 MP front, 108+2 MP rear. The main camera sensor is not specified, but most likely it is Samsung ISOCELL HM6.

There is support for 5G networks, a side fingerprint scanner, and a gyroscope. There is no NFC module and the LTE bands we need.

Stand at the start of sales.Redmi Note 13R Pro will be ¥1999 (₽24,600, $276). And this, by the way, is strange. Because Redmi Note 13 with the same amount of memory can be bought for only ¥1599 (₽19,700, $221). Does anyone understand where the dog was rummaging around here?
