Xiaomi has updated its line of "Black Sharks", its gaming smartphones.

That's the sweet word RAID.The Black Shark 5 RS, like the older shark Black Shark 5 Pro, has a permanent memory that is physically divided into two parts. An additional SSD drive has been added to the usual smartphone memory. And these two pieces are connected in RAID 0. I.e. when writing large files, the recording goes alternately to two different disks. When reading, respectively, the file is also collected in pieces from different sources. Thanks to this parallelization, it is possible to achieve a fair speedup of both reading and writing.

Chipsets - from the relatively modest QualcommSnapdragon 870 in the younger model to the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the older one. The middle brother Black Shark 5 RS is generally a mess. In the younger version of 8 + 256 GB, the chipset was installed a little slower, in the older one - a little faster. And the difference is purely symbolic. Why be so perverted?

There is no support for memory cards.

Of course, all devices are equipped with ultra-modern cooling systems. Since you're trying to be a gaming smartphone, without it - just nowhere.
