Vivo continues to produce smartphones. In Mexico, a device called Vivo Y33 appeared on sale.

(Seven years ago, Vivo already had a smartphone under exactly the same name. But, of course, it has nothing in common with the current namesake).

About relatives.Vivo Y33 does not seem to have exact twins. Most of all, it looks like the Vivo Y53s 4G, only it has more RAM, fast charging faster, and the main camera is more impressive, as much as 64 MP.

Another close device is Vivo Y33s. Also a different camera (50 MP), also more RAM. And plus the design is somewhat different.

Enough about relatives. Let's go through the characteristics of Vivo Y33.

The MediaTek Helio G80 chipset is not particularly powerful, somewhere around two hundred thousand points in the ninth AnTuTu. Only 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of permanent. There is support for memory cards.

There is no NFC module, the fingerprint scanner is on the side. WiFi and USB are correct. Band 20 is missing from “our” LTE bands.

To understand the scale of prices.The almost twin Vivo Y53s 4G (8 GB vs 4 GB, 64 MP vs 48 MP and 33 W vs 18 W) costs 7499 pesos (₽28100, $367) in Mexico. In Russia, it (only with 6 GB of RAM instead of 8 GB) officially costs ₽19,990 ($261). And if you look, you can save a couple of thousand more.
