Announcement. Vivo Y12s - a copy of Vivo Y11s with the old chipset

Vivo has presented to the general public another budget smartphone with a smart battery. It's called Vivo Y12s. Presented globally. Already seen in Vietnam, Thailand, Jordan.

By and large, we have a copy ofthe Vivo Y11s smartphone announced less than a month ago. The only difference visible to the naked eye is a different chipset. Instead of a weak but fresh Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 (about 140 thousand AnTuTu points), the Vivo Y12s uses a weak but stale MediaTek Helio P35 (about 100 thousand AnTuTu points).

Memory. 3 or 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 128 GB of storage. There is support for memory cards.

The screen is large, 6.51 ″, but the resolution is not high, only 720 × 1600 (270 ppi).

The battery is capacious, 5000 mAh. Moderately fast charging at 10W. Other devices can be recharged (5W reverse charging).

The cameras are modest. Front camera 8 MP. The rear camera looks triple, but instead of the third module there is a cap - just exactly the same body is used in smartphones Vivo Y20s, Vivo Y30 China, Vivo Y20i, Vivo Y20 - there really are three cameras. Here is a simple duet, 13 + 2 MP - the main camera plus a depth sensor.

Side fingerprint scanner. USB is ancient. Wi-Fi dual band.

The price for Vietnam is known - 3,290,000 dongs - about ₽10,980 ($ 142).
