Announcement. Tecno Pop 6 Pro for Russia - easy budget confusion

Tecno with their characteristic light touchmess presented in Russia an inexpensive smartphone Tecno Pop 6 Pro. The device appeared on the official website, it is also on sale in a couple of serious stores - in DNS and Ozone. The problem is that in these three places, the characteristics of the smartphone, albeit slightly, are different. I'm not talking about some other stores like the seemingly quite serious Quke, which are generally unclear where the performance characteristics came from (more precisely, it's understandable, but let's not talk about sad things).

So. The chipset is quad-core.Either the ancient MediaTek Helio A22, or its slightly more modern (but also weaker) version of the Helio A20. If you are very lucky, the smartphone will reach one hundred thousand points in AnTuTu, but there is little chance of this.

Little memory. 2 GB operational and 32 GB permanent. Memory cards are supported.

Since there is not enough RAM, then Android must obviously be stripped down, i.e. Go edition. version is not clear. Either Android 11 or Android 12.

The screen, according to the official version, has a diagonal of 6.6″ (16.66 cm). True, if you take the indicated centimeters and correctly convert them to inches, you get 6.56 ″ (103 cm²), which is indicated on the website of one of the stores. And 6.6 ″ is so, a beautiful rounding in the right direction. The resolution is low, 720 × 1612 (269 ppi).

The official website says in small print that the screen has a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, but I don't believe it.

There is no disagreement about the battery. The capacity is excellent, 5000 mAh. Fast charging, of course, is missing.

Cameras are simple. 5 MP front 8 + 0.08 MP rear.

There is a fingerprint scanner on the side. There is no NFC module. USB ancient, Micro. Does Wi-Fi have a second range? Alas, the evidence differs. Unclear.

And about money. DNS has not set a price yet, the product is out of stock. Ozone writes about ₽6490 ($108) and promises delivery on September 19th.
