Announcement. Teclast P80 tablet on the new Allwinner A133 chipset

In general, Teclast already had several P80 tablets. So let's not confuse the newcomer with venerable devices like the Teclast P80 4G 2016 and Teclast P80 3G 2015.

Teclast P80 2020

Teclast P80 is a typical budget device. Weak and uninteresting. By and large, there is only one curious moment - this is the fresh Allwinner A133 chipset, which, it seems, has never been used anywhere before.

However, nothing special about Allwinner A133 anddoes not represent. Four Cortex-A53 cores, PowerVR GE8300 video accelerator. The same "components" are used, in particular, in MediaTek Helio A20 - about 70,000 points in AnTuTu. It is clear that the performance of the Allwinner A133 can seriously differ, but hardly at times. So we can roughly imagine the power of the chipset and, accordingly, the tablet. Before us is a very low-cost and extremely low-power device.

The rest of the characteristics are matched. 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of permanent memory. An eight-inch screen with a low resolution of 1280 × 800 (189 ppi). Medium-capacity 4000 mAh battery.

Cameras with the same success could have been omitted at all. Back (2 MP) - that's for sure. Front (0.3 MP), so be it, let it stay.

But there are also positive aspects. The fifth dual-band Wi-Fi is supported, the fifth is Bluetooth. And USB is used modern, Type-C.

But what is not clear - is there GPS support? It is not mentioned either in the description of the chipset or in the description of the tablet.

There is no information on the cost yet. But it will definitely not be very expensive.
