Announcement. Samsung Galaxy A14 4G - but with a wide-angle camera

A smartphone called Samsung Galaxy A14 4G has been officially announced. So far, only in Malaysia. But, of course, the matter is not limited to one country.

You won't be surprised if I say thatthe newcomer is very similar to its namesakes Samsung Galaxy A14 5G (Exynos) and Galaxy A14 5G (MediaTek). Only the chipset is different. Yes, they messed up a little with the cameras. But first things first.

Iron. The brand of the chipset has not been officially announced.But, if you believe the numerous leaks, then here we will have a modest MediaTek Helio G80 (200-250 thousand points in AnTuTu). (The 5G variants of the Galaxy A14 use Dimensity 700 and Exynos 1330 chipsets. They are faster. 300-350 thousand parrots for the first, slightly over 400 thousand for the second).

By the way, if the Galaxy A14 4G really uses the Helio G80, then this makes this smartphone outrageously similar to the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G SM-A137

Memory. So far, it is known about the only variety of 6 + 128 GB. But there will most likely be others. There is support for memory cards.

The screen is the same as that of relatives, only without support for a slightly increased (up to 90 Hz) refresh rate. Diagonal 6.6 ″ (105 cm²), resolution 1080 × 2408 (400 ppi).

The battery is just as standard, 5000 mAh. Charging is slightly accelerated - 15 watts.

Cameras. 13 MP front, 50+5+2 MP rear.Relatives with 5G support have almost the same set of cameras, but instead of a modest, but still wide-angle camera, they have an unnecessary depth sensor.

Information about the sensor of the main camera, of course, is not yet available. Most likely, like relatives, there is something from a couple of Samsung ISOCELL JN1 / Hynix Hi-5022.

Other. There is an NFC module, a side fingerprint scanner, Type-C, dual-band Wi-Fi.

How much the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G will cost is still unclear.
