Announcement. Redmi 10A Sport is just a top-end budget smartphone

In India, a smartphone called Redmi 10A Sport has appeared on sale. Nothing new. Just a little more marketing confusion. We understand.

• The original Redmi 10A was originally announced in China. Several options, the maximum configuration is 6 + 128 GB of memory. Widely sold on AliExpress.
• Then Redmi 10A appeared in India. True, they were greedy with memory. Maximum 4+64 GB.
• Later, a “global” announcement took place. Up to 4 + 128 GB of memory, plus the rear camera suddenly became dual. Officially, it is not delivered to us. Also, it seems, you can find it on Ali and in other Chinese stores.

So. Redmi 10A Sport is exactly the same Indian Redmi 10A, but with increased memory up to 6 + 128 GB. Everything. They just “caught up with China”.

Characteristics.

The 2020 MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, which according tofor unclear reasons refers to the game line. Eight modest Cortex-A53 cores, about a hundred thousand points in AnTuTu. So-so smartphone for games, frankly.

I already talked about memory. 6 GB operational, 128 GB permanent. Plus memory cards are supported.

The screen is modest, with a teardrop notch. Diagonal 6.53″ (103 cm²), resolution 720×1600 (269 ppi). Of course, there is no question of any increased refresh rates.

Here is a completely normal battery, 5000 mAh. Charging standard, 10 watts.

Cameras are single. 5 MP front and 13 MP rear.

There is a fingerprint scanner located on the back.

Of the sad - single-band Wi-Fi and the ancient Micro-USB. For good, both of them are long overdue to go to the dustbin of history. There is no NFC module.

The price is moderately humane. ₹10999 (₽8070, $138) at launch.
