Realme V15 5G is the first smartphone from the so-called “koi-series”. The series is named not in honor of the famous ancient encoding, but in honor of the fish of the same name.

To be more precise, one of the colors of the smartphone is named after the fish. This one, golden pink. You cannot take away. Looks beautiful. Although I personally do not associate with carp.

In terms of most characteristics, the Realme V15 is very close to the Realme X7 and Realme Q2 Pro devices announced in the fall. These three smartphones are not twins, but the differences between them are minimal.

Briefly about the characteristics.

Chipset MediaTek Dimensity 800U with integrated 5G modem. The performance is good - slightly above three hundred thousand AnTuTu points.

RAM 6 or 8 GB, permanent always 128 GB. There is no memory card support.

Screen diagonal 6.4 ″. AMOLED-matrix high resolution 1080 × 2400 (411 ppi). A small hole for the front camera. The fingerprint scanner is hidden under the screen.

Medium battery - 4310 mAh. Charging is very fast at 50W. But the X7 and Q2 Pro have even faster 65W.

The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP.The rear module is triple - 64 + 8 + 2 MP (main camera, wide-angle camera, macro). For comparison, the X7 has an additional depth sensor, and the front camera has a resolution of 32 MP. Realme Q2 Pro is an outsider in terms of photos, the main module is only 48 MP.

From the sad.There is no NFC, no LTE Band 20, no standard audio output. The smartphone is produced in China and for the Chinese market. So installing Google services and Google Play takes a little tinkering. But, in my previous experience, Realme is easy on this.

In addition to the Koi color scheme, the Realme V15 is also available intwo "regular" colors - silver (Crescent Silver) and blue (Mirror Lake Blue). The Koi variety is three grams heavier and a couple of tenths of a millimeter thicker. There are no other differences.

The price does not depend on the color.¥ 1,499 (₽16,900, $ 229) for 6 + 128 GB and ¥ 1999 (₽22,600, $ 306) for 8 + 128 GB (as for me, it's a little strange to pay such a lot of money for two additional gigabytes of RAM). The devices have not appeared on AliExpress yet. But they will appear where they will go.
