Announcement. Realme 8 - why does an Indian need AMOLED?

Unlike the big brother Realme 8 Pro, which has been announced globally, the Realme 8 will only be sold in India for now.

As with the Realme 8 Pro, the differences fromthe previous generation are minimal. Only in this case, it was not the camera that was changed, but the screen. In Realme 7 India, there was an IPS matrix with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. And Realme 8 installed AMOLED with a “normal” frequency of 60 Hz. Moreover, for some reason, a fingerprint scanner was built into this screen. In short, they installed the same screen as in the Pro version. Improvement is doubtful, in my opinion ...

The rest of the changes are purely cosmetic.Other colors, different design of the camera block. And the varieties with 64 GB of permanent memory disappeared. Now only 128 GB with no options. But there are already three options with different amounts of RAM. 4, 6 or 8 GB. There is support for memory cards, the tray is separate.

Of course, there are no reviews of Realme 8 in Russian at all. English is also sparse. What is - I hide it under the cat.
