Announcement. OPPO A54s - a simple smartphone for Europe with a 50 MP camera

OPPO A54s is OPPO's 45th smartphone in 2021. Designed (at least initially) for the Western European markets.

Close relatives? Where can we go without them.OPPO A54s is very similar to a pair of OPPO A16 / OPPO A16s, only with a more serious main camera. Both A16s have only 13 megapixels, but here - a whole fifty. The rest are twin brothers.

Another device close in characteristics issold in India OPPO A55 4G. There, however, the appearance is very different - even a neckline of a different shape. And charge faster. And the screen is formally a different size - one hundredth of an inch less ... But the set of rear cameras is exactly the same.

Briefly about the characteristics.

Modern but low-power MediaTek Helio chipsetG35, which for some reason formally belongs to the gaming line. "Performance" is very low, only around 125 thousand points in the ninth AnTuTu. 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of permanent memory. There is support for memory cards.

The screen is 6.52 ″, the resolution is low, 720 × 1600 (269 ppi). There is no question of any increased refresh rates.

The standard OPPO battery is 5000 mAh. The speed of the charger has not been specified. Most likely 10 watts, nothing more.

There are three cameras behind. The main one is 50 MP. Plus a couple of modest auxiliary modules 2 + 2 MP - macro and depth sensor. Front camera with 8 megapixels.

Wi-Fi dual-band, USB Type-C is. There is no NFC module. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side.

I do not see official information about the recommended cost yet.
