Announcement. Motorola Moto G Stylus (2021) - chipset debut and stylus to boot

In the Far Abroad, a smartphone withstylus Moto G Stylus 2021. As you might guess, this is an update of last year's Moto G Stylus. The screen has grown, the chipset has changed. The set of cameras is different - the cunning action camera has disappeared.

Of particular interest to me personally is the chipset. This is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678. And the Moto G Stylus 2021 is honored to be the world's first smartphone with this chipset.

What is the chipset, not very good yetunderstandably. Most likely an insecure middle class. I predict there will be around 250 thousand parrots in AnTuTu. By and large, the Snapdragon 678 is a lightweight modification of the 2018 Snapdragon 675. The same cores and GPU, the same 11 nm process technology. What changed? Hard to tell. It seems to have pumped over the photo part, updated the modem.

With memory, everything is fine. 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of constant. There is support for memory cards.

The screen has barely grown to the "tablet" seven inches. 6.8 ″, IPS-matrix. The resolution is high, 1080 × 2400 (387 ppi).

An unexpectedly rather modest battery, only 4000 mAh. And charging is slow at 10W.

Classic camera set. Front camera 16 MP. Behind the quad 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP - the main module, wide-angle, macro, depth sensor. Macro camera, apparently, with autofocus.

What's good is a huge set of supported LTE bands, including all Russian ones (there is even Band 20).

What's bad - there is no NFC module, only one SIM card.

$ 299.99 at launch. Not that much for a stylus model. A rare beast in today's times.
