Announcement. Moto E22s is a budget smartphone for Europe and India

A week ago, Motorola quietly announced thisits new budget smartphone Moto E22s. Without many details and even without pictures. The brand of the chipset was not indicated, and in general ... But over the past week, people have obtained the missing information somewhere. Yes, and the pictures appeared, quite similar to the real ones. I suspect that someone in some countries received official press releases, and everything spread from there. In short, it's time to get acquainted.

Moto E22s is very similar to the one announced in the springthis year Moto E32s, only it has a slightly different appearance and one more auxiliary camera (symbolic macro module). Plus, the E32s has an understandable charging speed of 15W. And about the charging of the Moto E22s, the information is still contradictory. Someone writes about 10 watts, someone about 18 watts.

About the characteristics.

The chipset is weak, MediaTek Helio G37. We are waiting for one hundred thousand points with a small tail in AnTuTu. All in all.

Memory.While I see a mention of a single variety. 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. But it cannot be ruled out that alternative versions will appear in some countries. Support for memory cards, of course, is.

Screen diagonal 6.5″ (102 cm²). The resolution is low, only 720×1600 (270 ppi). But the refresh rate is slightly increased, up to 90 Hz.

The battery is good, 5000 mAh.

The set of cameras is modest. The front has a resolution of 8 MP. On the back side there is a duo of 16 + 2 MP - the main camera and a depth sensor.

There is no NFC module, there is no support for 5G networks. There is Type-C. It seems to have dual-band Wi-Fi and a side fingerprint scanner.

The recommended price at the start of sales in Europe is €159 (₽9630, $160). Also, the device should soon appear in India.
