The company MediaTek introduced a new chipset - Helio P90.
The novelty is created using a 12-nanometer processor and, obviously, is intended for “middle class +” smartphones.
Chipset architecture is represented by twoasymmetric clusters: two high-performance Cortex-A75 cores with frequencies up to 2.2 GHz are adjacent to half a dozen Cortex-A55 cores with frequencies up to 2 GHz. IMG PowerVR GM 9446 with a top frequency of 970 MHz produced by Imagination Technologies is used as the graphic processor. There is a 50% increase in graphics chip performance compared to the Helio P70.
The P90 includes a new neuroprocessor version 2.0, according to the company, four times more spirited than the one built into the Helio P70.
Chipset capable of working with cameras resolutionup to 48 MP and with dual modules 24 + 16 MP. Bluetooth 5.0, LTE Cat.12 / 13, Galileo European Satellite Navigation System is supported. 5G-modem yet.
