Announcement. Lenovo Legion Y70 is just a top gaming smartphone

Lenovo introduced its next "Legion". A gaming smartphone whose original name is 联想拯救者Y70. But outside of China, everyone calls it the Lenovo Legion Y70.

Compared to the previous Legion, the modelLenovo Legion Y90, our Legion Y70 looks a little more modest. It is smaller, the battery is not so capacious, there is no backlit logo on the back, there is no RAID 0 chip. But the hardware is more powerful. The very top. Those. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which simply did not exist at the time of the release of the previous Legion.

Of course, the lion's share of the description of the new device is devoted to its advanced cooling system. Who would doubt that. Gaming smartphones are supposed to cool well.

Memory is the fastest. There are three varieties. From rather modest 8+128 GB to impressive 16+512 GB. Support for memory cards, of course, no.

OLED screen with the highest (who would doubt) refresh rate - from 48 to 144 Hz. The diagonal is rather big, 6.67″ (107 cm²). The resolution is standard, 1080 × 2400 (395 ppi).

The battery is average, 5100 mAh. Charging is fast, although not a record - 68 watts.

Unlike all other featuressmartphone, which is undoubtedly the flagship, its set of cameras is quite simple. The front has a resolution of 16 MP. There are three rear cameras - 50 + 13 + 2 MP (main, wide-angle and depth sensor). There is optical stabilization. Officially, the name of the sensor of the main camera is not named. But, apparently, this is OmniVision OV50A.

There is a fingerprint scanner, but where it is located is not specified. Either under the screen, or combined with the power button. The sixth Wi-Fi, NFC - that's all, of course, is also available.

The internal Chinese price tag is quite humane. ¥2970 (₽26200, $437), ¥3370 (₽29700, $496) and ¥4270 (₽37700, $629) for the 8+128, 12+256 and 16+512 GB versions respectively.

There is no need to wait for the official international announcement of the device. But Lenovo Legion Y70 will probably appear in Chinese stores.
