Background.

1. February-2022.The Infinix Zero 5G smartphone is announced. First he appears in Africa, then gets to India and (probably) to other countries. It is one on all continents, it does not look like other smartphones, so they forgot about it.

2. November-2022.“Globally” announced the Infinix Zero 5G 2023 smartphone based on the Dimensity 1080 chipset, which I now have to rename to Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Global. There is one review on the smartphone and it is even present on AliExpress – $259.90 (₽19900).

3. February-2023. Infinix Zero 5G 2023 India and Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo smartphones announced in India. (Of course, I added the word “India” to the name of the first device, it is not in the original).

Let's unravel the confusion.

• Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo is identical to Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Global, even the declared set of 4G/5G bands is the same.
• Infinix Zero 5G 2023 India different from this onea couple of chipset, half the amount of permanent memory and a smaller set of supported frequency ranges. Otherwise, it is an exact copy of the aforementioned twins, including dimensions and a set of colors.

To the characteristics.

Chipsets.MediaTek Dimensity 920 was installed in Infinix Zero 5G 2023 India. Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo, of course, uses Dimensity 1080. The funny thing is that these chips are very close. Identical cores, GPU, technical process. The Dimensity 1080 is a little more overclocked and more modern, but I highly doubt that the difference in performance or anything else can be seen with the naked eye.

Productivity - before us is a typical confident middle class. We are waiting for 450-500 thousand points in AnTuTu.

Memory. 8+128 GB for Zero 5G 2023 India and 8+256 GB for Turbo. There is support for memory cards (a separate nest).

The screen is hefty, 6.78″ (109 cm²). The resolution is good, 1080×2460 (396 ppi). Plus, a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

The battery is standard, 5000 mAh. Charging is fast, though not overbearing at 33W.

Well, cameras. 16 MP front and 50+2+2 MP rear. What as the main sensor is not specified.

Other. The older brother definitely has an NFC module. What about the younger one is not very clear. There are Type-C, a sixth Wi-Fi and a side fingerprint scanner.

About money.

Infinix Zero 5G 2023 India will cost ₹17,999 (₽15,500, $221) in India.

Infinix Zero 5G 2023 Turbo is slightly more expensive, ₹19999 (₽17300, $245).
