Announcement. Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition - double for China on HarmonyOS

In China, a smartphone called Huawei nova 10 青春版 appeared on sale, which translates into more familiar English as Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition.

As far as I can tell from our beautifulfar away, we have an exact copy of the Huawei nova 9 SE sold in our country. Only the colors are slightly different. Plus, the Chinese does not have an NFC module and it works on HarmonyOS, while nova 9 SE works on Android (though without Google services).

Briefly about the characteristics.

Chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 680.There is no support for 5G networks. “Power” is not very high, but in the middle class, albeit with some interference, you can still enroll a smartphone - a little less than three hundred thousand points in AnTuTu.

Memory. I do not see on the official website information about the number of RAM. But in the news they write about 8 GB. Permanent memory - 128 or 256 GB. Support for memory cards, apparently, no.

The screen is large, 6.78″ (111 cm²). IPS-matrix with a resolution of 1080 × 2388 (387 ppi). Refresh rate up to 90 Hz.

The battery is small, only 4000 mAh. But charging ultra-fast - 66 watts.

Cameras. The front has a resolution of 16 MP.Behind is a not very sophisticated quartet 108 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP. Standard set of main camera, wide-angle. Well, who are the remaining two-plus-two, you know without me.

The sensor of the main camera is most likely Samsung ISOCELL HM2 with a medium-sized 1/1.52″ matrix.

Other. Side fingerprint scanner. There is no NFC module. The fifth Wi-Fi and Type-C are available.

The Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition will cost ¥1699 (₽18500, $246) and ¥1899 (₽20700, $275) in China for the 8+128 and 8+256GB versions, respectively.

For comparison, nova 9 SE 8 + 128 GB in Russia can now be bought for ₽15990 ($212). Unexpected, right?
