Another smartphone from a little-known so far in ouredges of the Hotwav brand. The Hotwav T5 Pro model has already been spotted on AliExpress. The price there so far, however, is prohibitive, as much as $214.82 (₽25,000). Never mind. The official premiere of the smartphone is scheduled for April 25-28. And these days it will be possible to buy it for more reasonable money – $94.99 (₽11000).

All characteristics of the device are already clear. So it's time to get to know him.

Protection. The abbreviations IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810G are traditionally listed. Translated into Russian, this means that the smartphone is not afraid of complete immersion in water and is shockproof to some extent.

It is difficult to call the chipset very powerful.MediaTek Helio A22. In AnTuTu, we expect a little less than a hundred thousand points. 4 GB of RAM, which is quite acceptable. Permanent is not enough, only 32 GB. But there is support for memory cards.

The screen is modest. Diagonal 5.99 ″ (93 cm²), low resolution, only 480 × 960 (179 ppi). Of course, there is no talk of any increased refresh rates.

Here with the battery, everything is just gorgeous. It is capacious - as much as 7500 mAh.

Cameras are simple.The front has a resolution of 5 MP. There are two rear ones, 13 + 2 MP - the main plus a depth sensor. Samsung ISOCELL 3L8, born in 2016, is used as the main sensor. Once very popular - in Xiaomi he was, in particular, very respected.

Other. There is no NFC module. Type-C and dual-band Wi-Fi, according to official data, are available. Android is the freshest, the twelfth. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back, right below the camera block.

As an everyday device, Hotwav T5 Pro is hardly very interesting. But, say, for hiking - why not? And it is not easy to drown and break. And if you still succeed, it’s not really a pity, because it’s inexpensive.
