In China, an inexpensive smartphone with support for 5G networks called Honor X40i has appeared on sale. Good, but nothing particularly interesting. Unless the design of the island of cameras attracts attention.
Chipset MediaTek Dimensity 700, which means 300-350 thousand points in AnTuTu. There is a lot of memory - 8 or 12 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory. Support for memory cards, apparently, no.
Standard large screen without increased refresh rate. Diagonal 6.7 ″ (109 cm²), resolution 1080 × 2388 (391 ppi).
The battery is not particularly large, only 4000 mAh. But charging is fast - 40 watts. Well, along the way, we managed to make the smartphone very thin - only 7.43 mm.
On the cameras, judging by their resolution, saved. Front - 8 MP. Rear - a couple, 50 + 2 MP.
The fingerprint scanner is located on the side. Type-C and a fifth Wi-Fi are available. Apparently there is no NFC module.
There is no information on supported LTE bands. But, most likely, neither the seventh nor the twentieth will be there.
The Honor X40i is not very expensive. ¥1599 (₽14100, $239), ¥1799 (₽15800, $269) and ¥1999 (₽17600, $299) for the 8+128, 8+256 and 12+256 GB versions respectively.
