Announcement. Cubot P50 is a strange budget smartphone with a lot of memory, NFC and a removable battery

When Chinese manufacturers of the “third tier” try to cross a hedgehog with a snake, strange but curious devices sometimes turn out.

The premiere of the Cubot P50 smartphone is scheduled for March 28. But the manufacturer has already published all the characteristics. Time to get acquainted.

The chipset was installed old and low-power.MediaTek Helio P22 born in 2018. In AnTuTu, we are waiting for only around one hundred thousand AnTuTu points. But at the same time, they did not become greedy with memory. Already 6 GB of operational and 128 GB of permanent. Those. theoretically, you can put a lot of heavy toys on the P50 ... But playing them on weak hardware is unlikely to be comfortable.

The screen is small by modern standards, only 6.22″ (97 cm²). IPS-matrix, the resolution is not so hot, which is 720 × 1520 (270 ppi).

The battery is not very capacious, only 4200 mAh. But at the same time - what a rarity - removable. There is no information about the charging speed. Obviously not more than 10 watts.

But, judging by the advertising banner, at the time of the real start of sales on March 28, it should fall to $109.99 (₽18,000).
