Blackview BL8800 5G is additionally very similar toannounced at the end of last year Blackview BV8800. Only that one does not have support for 5G networks. And, accordingly, there is a different chipset (about the same performance).

It was specifically clarified that the smartphone complies with the latest revision of the American military standard - 810H, and not 810G. As usual, the manufacturer does not provide an exact list of passed tests. Apparently, the smartphone was tested for temperatures, drops, vibrations ... The rain test was also successfully passed - who would doubt it ... Taking into account the passed IP68.

The chipset is the super popular MediaTek Dimensity 700.In AnTuTu we are waiting for a little more than 300 thousand points. (In the Blackview BV8800 mentioned above, where there is no support for five-ji, there is a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. In fact, this is exactly the same Dimensity 700, only with bitten-off support for 5G networks).

Lots of memory. 8 GB operational, 128 GB permanent. Support for memory cards is not mentioned. It looks like she doesn't exist.

The screen is large, 6.58″ (104 cm²). The resolution is high, 1080×2408 (401 ppi). There is no information about the increased refresh rate.

Battery - uh - as much as 8380 mAh. Fast charging, 33W. They promise that the time to fully charge the smartphone will be only one and a half hours.

The front camera is normal - 16 MP. Both smartphones have four rear cameras. The first pair is identical. Samsung ISOCELL JN1 main module with a resolution of 50 MP plus a depth sensor.

The third and fourth cameras of the Blackview BL8800 5G are an 8 MP wide-angle module and a 20 MP infrared night vision camera.

The third camera on the Blackview BL8800 Pro 5G isthermal camera FLIR Lepton (most likely, FLIR Lepton 2.5 with a resolution of 80 × 60, i.e. 0.005 MP). The fourth camera is an auxiliary one (5 MP), a thermal image from FLIR is superimposed on its image.

Other. An NFC module is available. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side. There is even a barometer. The only fly in the ointment is the size and weight. 365 grams, 17.7 mm thick. Overkill for my taste.

Smartphone pages have already appeared on AliExpress.Here you can admire the BL8800 5G, and here you can admire both devices at the same time. Now there is a price of $499.99 (₽37400) for the younger model and $599.99 (₽44900) for the older one. But whether this is the final price or pre-sale, I can not say. In my opinion, it's a bit pricey. For the same Blackview BV8800 can be bought for only $269.99 (₽20200). It hardly makes sense to overpay more than $200 just for supporting 5G networks.
