Announcement. Benco V80s - a smartphone without cameras and GPS

A little-known (to me) company Benco releasedunusual smartphone Benco V80s. In fact, the smartphone is very ordinary. A classic low-power device with support for LTE networks and a capacious battery. But cameras have bitten off this device. And a GPS module. And, perhaps, also Bluetooth - it is not mentioned in the specification.

Question. Why such difficulties?

Answer. Perhaps you are aware that, for example, phones with cameras and Bluetooth are prohibited in our Russian army. For reasons of privacy, security, etc.
Benco V80s is not a device for our market. But perhaps in some other countries there are similar rules. Or a certain corporation may establish similar rules. Like, you can work with a smartphone, but only if it is without cameras. So that you don’t take a picture, dear man, which is secret inadvertently.

The lack of GPS is more difficult for me to explain. Probably so that information about the movements could not leak towards Google?

Question. And why then teardrop-shaped cutout on the screen?

Answer. And you try to find a similar screen on sale, but without a cutout. In fact, the Benco V80s smartphone is based on the Benco V80 smartphone, which was stupidly bitten off. And since that smartphone has a screen with a droplet, then why mess around, order exclusive screens? They took exactly the same components, and delivered them. So cheaper.

The smartphone is very simple. So about the characteristics - literally two words.

The chipset is Unisoc SC9863A, so we are waiting for a miserable one hundred thousand points in AnTuTu. 3 or 4 GB of RAM, 32 or 64 GB of permanent memory. There is support for memory cards.

The screen has a diagonal of 6.52″. Resolution 720×1600 (269 ppi). The refresh rate is standard, 60 Hz.

The battery is good, 5000 mAh. There is no fast charging.

USB, apparently, Micro (similar to the ancestor). Wi-Fi single band. There is no NFC module. There is a fingerprint scanner. It is located on the back of the device in the old fashioned way.

The smartphone, apparently, will be sold in the countries of the Middle East (but this is inaccurate). There is no cost information yet.
