Adidas unveils full-size solar-powered headset

Adidas unveils RPT-02 SOL full-size headset capable of recharging batteries

with Powerfoyle solar cells fromExeger company. Solar panels are built right into the headband. The manufacturer claims 80 hours of fully charged headphones. Developed in collaboration with Zound Industries, it uses 45mm drivers and offers Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The earbuds are made from recycled plastic and use the same solar panel as the TWS Urbanista earbuds previously introduced. Headphones are capable of reproducing sound in the range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, protected from water according to the IPX4 standard. The start of sales is scheduled for this month, the novelty will cost customers $230. Declares compatibility with devices on operating systems Android and iOS.
