The first smartphone with a sub-screen camera ZTE Axon 20 5G will be released on September 1

The problem of placing the front camera underthe smartphone screen has been decided by the developers of leading companies for a long time. However, after Samsung's optimistic statements about the appearance of an "invisible" camera in the near future and the presentation a year ago by Oppo of a prototype smartphone with a front camera hidden under the screen, the Axon 20 5G from the Chinese manufacturer ZTE will become the first serial device with a sub-screen selfie camera. The first smartphone with a camera hidden under the screen will be presented in less than two weeks - on September 1, 2020.

Engineers and managers of many companies continue toinsist that the technology that allows cameras to be placed under smartphone screens without losing the ability to take high-quality pictures still needs serious work. However, representatives of ZTE have already announced that the quality of the images of the front camera located under the display will not be inferior to those taken by the camera located in the cutout or hole of the smartphone screen. Consumers will be able to verify the veracity of the opinions of ZTE developers in the near future - on the first day of autumn.

Currently, about the characteristics of the smartphoneZTE Axon 20 5G is known only from insider leaks, as the company has not yet officially disclosed any information. The Axon 20 5G is likely to have a 6.92-inch OLED display (2460 × 1080), and the camera hidden under the screen will have a 32MP sensor. The dual main camera will receive 64 and 8 megapixel sensors. The smartphone will run on a chip with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and up to 12 GB of RAM. Autonomous work will be supported by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4120 mAh.
