It is noteworthy that the previous similar parade of celestial bodies took place in 1982, and the next, as expected, will appear no earlier than 2161. So we are incredibly lucky! But the rare parade of all the planets of the solar system -not the only event that will happen on July 4th. So, according to timeanddate.com, on the night of July 4, 2020, a lunar eclipse will occur with visibility in North America, South America and Africa. This will be an unusual lunar eclipse - it occurs when the Sun, Earth and Moon are not fully aligned and create a shadow on the surface of the Moon. The eclipse will begin on July 4 at 23:07 Eastern time and will last until 1:52 in the morning. According to forecasts, the eclipse will reach its peak at about 12:29 in the morning, when the sky will be the darkest. So if you find yourself in New York that day, you will be guaranteed a front row seat.
